| More than 2100 years ago, in a region we call today the Middle East, a handful of people came together and decided to form a community. They lived in the Qumran Caves and became known as the Essenes. Yasha J. Lavie has been channelling their consciousness since 1997. |

| The New Year to Come |

I’m not sure if it is the fact that when I channel spirit I go to a different 'space' within me, or if it is my age, but to look back on 2009 and to remember everything that I did and went through is an impossible task. I would just like to mention three things that are maybe of the most significance.
The first is that the expansion of the channeling material, mainly related to the heart chakra, gave me a deeper understanding of myself and the process of life, in particular of our emotions. Secondly, to see that all the students who started in 2009 in both colleges completed the year. And lastly I would like to thank many people for all their help during the year.
The colleges would not be as beautiful without you. My intention for the New Year is to continue expanding our community, and to allow more and more people to listen to the wisdom of the Essenes.

| The Journey to Amsterdam |

Maybe the most exciting thing for the coming year is my trip to Amsterdam in March (from the 2nd until the 21st), and the plan to open a college there starting in October. A few months ago I was approached by Marion Berndsen, who herself is a medium, asking me to come to Holland and to introduce the Essenes. I was very excited and happy to accept her invitation.
If you know anyone in Holland, or a nearby country who would like to come to one of the seminars in March, please let them know and give them Marion’s email maylight@zonnet.nl.
My plan is that during my visit, I will gather a group of people who will be interested in our training course starting in October of this year.

| A Trip to Israel |

I’m also planning after my visit in Holland to go to Israel, and visit the Qumran caves with a working video camera. I have been asked many times, by people from New Zealand and Australia, if I will be able to guide them through the Qumran Caves and other spiritual sites throughout Israel. I have decided to make this trip happen in October of 2011. If you have any intention of joining us please let me know, as I wouldn’t be comfortable taking a big group.
And lastly I do wish you from my heart a wonderful 2010 with lots of learning and contribution.
